Community AMA Questions:
Q: Can we lower the royalties from 10%?
On 4/18/22 we lowered our creator royalties from 10% down to 4.5%.
Q: How far along is staking?
As stated in Coffee Break Time #1, the frontend UI is complete, and our sights are still set on releasing in Q2 of this year! Java encountered a minor issue with the staking contract and is tirelessly working on resolving it with the help of 2 fellow developers. Here’s a preview of the frontend:
Q: Why are all the funds still in the creator address? (0xFdbFc57c3e5Ec7cFC4fc437b2601391B82fBA541)
Since we aren’t a doxxed team, we decided that leaving the funds in the creator address would show some dedication and transparency. All funds out have been used strictly on floor sweeps and Barista wages.
Q: Did you donate 10% of your secondary royalties yet?
We reached out to the Rainforest Alliance for their Ethereum address, but still haven’t received a response. If they don’t reply by the end of this week, the community will get the opportunity to help us decide which charitable fund we send it to!
OpenTee Partnership:
We would like to officially announce our partnership with OpenTee!
They are in the process of implementing a store front for us on their website that should eventually be hosted on our own site as well.
T-shirts will be available for purchase as soon as next week for $23.99 + S&H, with mugs following closely behind. Ethereum is the only payment option available right now, with more options being added soon.
I would like to personally thank the OpenTee team for all they are doing for us, and helping bring the Coffee Club into the real world and Metaverse.
